The
Static Thuraya Monitoring System (SCL-5030S)
is designed and developed as a 100%
Passive Monitoring System capable of monitoring,
deciphering and logging Thuraya
communications including Voice, SMS, Fax & Data.
The Static Thuraya Monitoring
System is capable of providing full duplex call,
call related information along with the
location of the Thuraya Phone by monitoring of both
C & L band.
Since the power transmitted by the mobile handset
on the uplink is very low, it is often
difficult to monitor it on the L-Band, so the system
monitors this information on the C-band
downlink (satellite to earth station), this overcomes
the distance limitation between the
system and the target while monitoring. The Surveillance
of L-band (between Thuraya
satellite and Thuraya mobile) and C-band (between
Thuraya Satellite and Thuraya
Gateway), provides total traffic monitoring of the
targeted spot beams.
Thuraya Interception system uses inbuilt high speed
processing components for deciphering of cipher
algorithms used on Thuraya network. Standard configuration
of the system provides
monitoring of upto 7 spot beams and all calls within
these spot beams.

The
system monitors RF L-band Satellite to Mobile communications
and RF C-band Feeder Link to present full duplex
communication.

The System is capable of monitoring
several spot beams. Being a modular architecture,
the capability of the system in terms of number of
calls and number of Spots beams to be monitored can
be increased by adding additional hardware. |

The System monitors
Voice, SMS, Fax (optional) and data (optional)
communication. |

The Systems automatically
detects and identify the Voice, SMS, Fax and Data
communication. |

System automatically
decrypts the Voice, SMS, Fax and Data communication
almost in real time (once the call is completed). |

System can be
configured to monitor the C-band only when L-band
is not available. |

Coverage area
of the system can be extended to another geographic
location using portable Thuraya L-Band monitoring
system (optional). |

The system can
intercept calls, initiated from PSTN to MES, MES
to PSTN and Thuraya to Thuraya terminals. |

Coverage area
can be changed by the operator according to priority
of intelligence mission. |

All Thuraya
communication in the coverage is intercepted. |

The GPS location
of the target can be mapped on Digital MAP. |

Capability to
intercept all communication from the targeted spot
beams in both uplink and downlink directions. |

System automatically
scan the available spot beams in the coverage are
and provides the spot beam ID, Latitude & Longitude
of centre of the spot beam, Channel Number etc. |

The operator
can tune the system to any desired spot beams. |
